Happy Thanksgiving to all of our U.S. readers! We wish you a happy and fun filled day of eating turkey and watching football!
Today is Memorial Day here in the U.S., and it is a day that means a lot to me on a very deep and personal level. I have spoken in past years of my own family and their service to this great country. No matter what problems we may face as a society, there is no other place I would rather call home than right here. So today, I give honor to all of those men and women who have sacrificed much to provide us all with our freedoms. To the past, present, and future generations, I thank you for all that you do to keep my family safe.
I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a happy Easter! I hope that wherever you find yourself today, that it is filled with good times and great people. For me personally, Easter means more than colored eggs and sweets. It is a time of year where I like to give thanks to God for His sacrifice for me. Now don't go running away! I promise we are not going to whip out the humongous family Bible and start to preach... then again, maybe we will! I'll see you all next time!
