Happy Thursday all! I hope you all are doing absolutely great today! Today's post is going to be a short one, but I have pictures!!!!! I hit rank 15 yesterday! I am pretty pleased with the overall success of the deck. I do believe though that this weekend I may tweak a few cards around to provide a little more protection against face decks.
I had a good friend who spent his evening Tuesday throwing various decks at me. While some of the decks won by sheer RNG, others won by shining the light on the weakness of my ability to clear a board. So that having been said, I believe that this weekend we will look to tweak the deck slightly in hopes of adding in a little protection against these decks.
I did also manage to sneak my way into WoW yesterday and was working on cleaning up my bank some. I have been kicking the idea around of making a major change there and if I do decide to act, then I must be prepared! Look for more WoW updates in the near future!
In other gaming news, I received my beta access to Star Craft II: Legacy of the Void at the end of April; however, I did not notice this till late yesterday. I did download and hop into it, but there seemed to be only one other player online who was completely out of my class in terms of skill. So sadly, I really have nothing to report on there yet, but keep your eyes around here because I promise to bring you all the terrible game-play I can! Well, I think that is going to do it for me today. Catch you all next time!
Hey everyone, I hope y'all are having a great day! I know I am just planning on kicking back and relaxing today! I really don't have too much on my mind today, but I came across this screenshot from a match I played earlier in the day. If you cannot tell by the image above, that is a mill rogue and that poor paladin did not fair so well against this deck.
If you are new to these types of games, a mill deck is simply a deck that attempts to force your opponent to run out of cards. This is accomplished in a whole lot of ways and when it all comes together, well that's when the magic happens!
So yesterday I touched on the fact that I am wanting to really dedicate myself to working on ranking up in Hearthstone. As such, you will probably see a lot more posts in the near future where I talk about the different decks I am experimenting with and how those decks are working out. While I would love to think that I am the absolute end-all, be-all of Hearthstone, I am nowhere near that. As a matter of fact the game even informed me of it when the new month started. It very clearly stated that I was only better than 50% of the community, which means that I have a lot of work to put in if I ever hope to get my orange gem!
Now I do not want to dedicate all of my time to Hearthstone, but the honest truth is that it is really the only game I am playing with any sort of consistency. I love WoW and hope to one day get to focus some more time on it, but it just seems like I just do not have the time necessary to really be as good as I like to be. I am not someone who can just sit down at a computer and watch my pixilated butt run around a lake or what not. If I commit to something, then I like to give it everything that I have. As of late, about the only thing I really have been able to do, is log in and check my mail and relist my auctions. Now I suppose that is not all bad, since I am acquiring a nice little bit of change, but eventually my goal is to return to doing what I love the most... standing in the back of a group of adventurers and healing my socks off!
Outside the realm of gaming, I am in the process of working on getting back into the comic scene. As a kid, I grew up escaping into the world of Marvel's X-men and Spider-man. I always dreamed that one day I would have my own comic book store. Well, I have yet to obtain that dream, but in the near future I hope to start taking steps towards it. I am pretty sure that you will certainly get a chance to hear more about this in the future. As for the present, I think it is time for me to let you all go. Thanks for stopping by and listening to the inner workings of mind. See you next time!
So here is my dirty little secret. Okay not so much a secret, but more of a pet project. Way back before the days of sticking with one character, I created Whoopy. It made more perfect sense to create a Rogue on a PVP server. That and my only goal was to level him and then start one shotting and hitting vanish. I thought it would have been funny to see that Whoopy killed you. Yeah, I know that my sense of humor is occassionaly messed up sometimes. At any rate, poor Whoopy was placed on the sidelines as my altitus got worse. I never forgot him and he had quite a nice set of gear from running battlegrounds and for a long time I debated on moving him past 29.
Well, after having leveled a Paladin, Shaman, Warlock, and Hunter in Burning Crusade, I was starting to run out of things that interested me and I picked Whoopy back up again a few weeks before Wrath of the Lich King was released. I had so much gear saved up for him that it was not even funny. I am rather happy with his current stats. At this time he is in the mid 60s and I hope to at least take him to 70 before I turn my attention to another character. I left him with the subtlety talent spec more because I have so much fun using shadow step. I will never brag of my prowess with my abilities to play my Rogue, but I will also not go down easy for anyone. It will be interesting to see how far Whoopy goes in the game.
At this time I am just having some fun doing some quests and sneaking around those alliance towns. I think my favorite moments with Whoopy is pickpocketing random mobs and getting those gray worthless items. For some reason when I received a Rogues Diary I was hooked with seeing what all I could get.
Alright and because I like a challenge, I always try to push myself with grabbing large mobs. Sure it may mess up once in a while, but at other times it can create beautiful artwork. I really thought this was funny because a lot of the pictures we see of stuff like this is done by someone much higher than the mobs, this was just bad luck killing bonestripper vultures. In the end I killed them all and got a great picture.
