You know things have gotten away from you when you see a Hogger sitting at ten attack and six health! Well, that is exactly what happened yesterday when I was working my hardest to clear out two quests for wins with a Paladin; however, that is not what I want to discuss at this time.
Instead I wanted to talk about the fun that I have been having in the Tavern Brawls lately. I really enjoy this facet of the game and even when RNG kicks me where the sun don't shine, it doesn't really bother me because I have been having an absolute blast. Case in point, the brawl which featured the player as either randomly getting one of the two bosses, Ragnaros or Nefarian, was a lot more fun than I felt it would be. Now I will admit that I was a much better Ragnaros. I just had no luck whatsoever with trying for the random spell cards when using Nefarian. Did it stop me from playing or ruin the fun I was having? Surprisingly it did not. I actually had more fun trying to figure out how to play all the insane spell cards that I was drawing.
Of all the mechanics that have been introduced so far, my absolute favorite brawl was the one where you worked together to take down a boss. It really made me think back to the days of watching Yu-Gi-Oh dueling with one of his friends. To be completely honest, I really hope that the developers behind Hearthstone find a way to incorporate two on two player duels in the game itself. How much fun would it be to team up with your buddy and see if you can mesh your decks together against two other players? There is so much depth that could occur, but I am sure there is also a whole lot of pains that would creep up as well. Just imagine the sheer fun though as you and your best card mate throw down, it would be glorious!
