Welcome back, seekers!
In Episode 2 of The Noob Seeker, we pick up right where we left off—standing proudly (and somewhat cluelessly) at level 1, with one quest under our belt and a massive goal of 3,000 looming on the horizon.
Today’s quest? The Basics: Hitting Things. Which, frankly, is as straightforward as it sounds—and honestly, kind of refreshing.
What to Expect in This Episode:
🪓 Smacking down tiki targets with a single ability (yep, just one)
💬 Rambling commentary about Blizzard’s design choices (tiki targets, poop quests, and all)
📬 More unsolicited guild invites (still politely declined)
🧠 Admitting I have zero clue how to actually play a warrior
🎮 A few thoughts on mouse-wheel keybinding and gameplay preferences
🤣 A reminder that my warrior has “rage issues”… in the opposite direction
📈 The dawning realization that one quest a day means I’ll finish in about 10 years
There’s not a ton of action in this one, but that’s kind of the point. This series isn’t about rushing to the endgame—it’s about the little moments, the nostalgic grind, and the fun of just goofing off in Azeroth as a total noob again.
If you’ve ever struggled with a class, questioned Blizzard’s quest design, or just wanted an excuse to revisit WoW’s early zones, this episode’s for you.
